8vo. 176 pp. Green cloth blind-stamped in black with title stamped in gilt. Frontispiece portraits of the author and her husband, General Horatio Phillips Van Cleve. Cloth soiled. Bumping to corners and head and tail of spine. The author, who, according to Howes (V21), was the first white child born in Wisconsin, inscribed this copy, "Wm. F. Broadhead, Feb. 16, '99, From Mrs. Charlotte O. Van Cleve, its authoress, at the request of my old Montana friend A.H. Wilcox of Frazee, Minnesota. Mrs. Van C's address is Minneapolis, Minn., No 6035, 5th Street S.E."

Designed and printed by Lawton Kennedy, this history of the bank is profusely illustrated and is an updated edition of the original, published in 1964. One small spot on spine (1/8") and slip case has some spots on bottom.
