In pictorial dustjacket featuring a man and woman embracing inside a wedding rirng, surrounded by other women in dresses that don't leave much to the imagination. Dustjacket is chipped and rubbed but still vibrant. Original price of $1.98 intact. A prolific writer of pulp fiction, Woodford (1894-1971) also wrote several books on writing, including HOW TO WRITE AND SELL A NOVEL. Among his fans (and students of his writing) were the authors Ray Bradbury, Robert A. Heinlein, and Piers Anthony. His other novels include such racy titles as HERE IS MY BODY, TEMPTRESS, RENTED WIFE, ILLICIT, and SAVAGE HONEYMOON. A nice example of pulp fiction so well-written and so eminently readable that it was published in hardcover.
