Near fine.Dallas Lore Shar, a popular nature writer in his time, left his home in Boston to join writer and wildlife photographer William L. Finley in Oregon in 1912. During their travels, Finley and Sharp covered much of Oregon including climbing Three Arch Rocks off the Oregon coast in order to observe sea bird colonies, crossing the high desert to Malheur Marsh, seeking Big Horn Sheep inthe Wallowa Mountains, and scaling Mt. Hood. WHERE ROLLS THE OREGON is an exciting recount of their adventures.
